Equine Assisted Learning therapy (EAL) is a unique approach to mental well-being and personal development. It is a non-room based, holistic process where you are offered safe experiences with horses, our wonderful co-facilitators that assist with the therapeutic process.
Horses are wonderful teachers and offer unique feedback for their clients due to their heightened sensitivity and natural instincts. Horses can offer emotional safety, trust, and confirmation in a non-judgemental and curious interaction. They also help create awareness when working with them.
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist.
No horse experiences is necessary :) Dress in clothing that is appropriate for the sun and weather conditions, and shoes that are sturdy and fully closed (no sandles or thongs please)
This is not a horse riding session
